Does the Epic bonus on Saves and Attack Bonus increase beyond 30th level? I've been wondering for a while now.

Yes, all the tables in the ELH can be extrapolated out to as high a level as you require.

Thanks, but my reason for asking was because I don't have the ELH.

The DMG doesn't say anywhere that I noticed (Mainly the table) that it can go beyond 30th.

Is the ELH worth getting if my group gets close to going Epic or is it playable with the DMG?

It's playable with just the DMG, though using the actual ELH is probably a good idea if you plan on doing a significant amount of epic-level play.

I might be biased (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=966322) but I'd say no. The ELH is so wonky and dysfunctional that you could probably come up with a better system yourself; I have.

I've just glimpsed through that for now, but it's bookmarked.

Thanks, it's pretty good from what I've read.

Though it's wonky, the ELH stuff can be read for free in the SRD.

This is true; virtually all the 'crunch' in the ELH is in the SRD, handily updated to 3.5. The only bits missing are the demographics tables, EL/CR tables, and variant rules from chapter 3, and the PC/NPC wealth tables from chapter 1/ appendix 3 respectively. Although that said, it does contain a fair amount of useful ideas about building epic worlds, campaigns, adventures etc., as well as lots of examples of epic NPCs, organisations and so on.

Tequila Sunrise's stuff is definitely worth a read, too.

Yeah, I think that BigGus has it, the main reason to get the ELH is for the advice on running the game at that level. All the crunchy rules you need are in the SRD. But how to design combats to take advantage of monster strengths and minimize weaknesses - priceless.
