Does anybody have the stats handy for the Shadar Pool? I know it grants a permanent +2 to all ability scores...but what else? Thanks kindly for any help. The more specific, the better.

If you are 19th level or lower, you cannot enter it.

If you are 20th level:

You get 2000XP each, +2 inherent bonus to all ability scores, and a +4 Insight bonus to any skill of your choice. You are healed of all deleterious effects (ability damage/drain, hp, poison, disease, even death - as true resurrection). And you "gain" the ability to advance to 21st level - assuming you don't already allow that.

In my campaign, I had already allowed Epic level, so I downplayed the "heroic knowledge" aspect of it, but the inherent bonuses were more than sufficient reward. The Insight bonus to skills is a weird construct to use. I thought about instead granting Epic Skill Focus or something - but that could be a bigger can of worms. Deciding on a skill is tough - Spellcraft for casters going for epic spellcasting, Diplomacy for a Paladin in my party, the ranger couldn't decide between spot, search, hide, listen, and move silently. And what does the fighter do?

Thanks a ton Rob....yeah, that is a tough choice for some characters regarding the +4 to a skill....
