03-22-07, 12:34 AM Narris is referring to the 400th layer of the Abyss, the Woeful Escarand (no "e" at the end).

It's the layer where newly arrived larvae and sometimes other demons are judged, and it's the home of the Nalfeshnee.

So obviously, the group would likely face angry Nalfeshnee demons, who may possibly call in reinforcements from other layers if things get ugly.
