I love epic games, the ability to change the direction of a campaign world... take over kingdoms and lead armies and such.

Now the question I have is with the book and what changes some of you all have made.

Like I'll start with the paladin. Does it really need to keep progressing in the cure disease part of the class? I don't think so as how often you will come across that type of situations, but I don't know what to replace it with.

Just questions and the house rules you have all implemented so I can get some idea's of what changes to make to those that make no sense.

Didn't change it. An epic progression is supposed to progress.

You can see a lot of changes on the SRD revision thread:

As for the paladin disease, that doesn't need to change. It might be better to go Divine Emissary at that level once you have 26 Paladin levels. Mount stacks, as does smiting. Lay on hands is the only thing then that stops.

Thats great... the link is informative.

But what I'm looking for is specific house rule changes... not what blue has developed (no offense, again just not what I'm looking for)

hehe, this 'test' you say, Drew in your signature is quite impressive !
At first I thought it wouldn't be worth the effort so I just clicked fast with no second thought...and I appeared to be a
'NEUTRAL good' human 'PALADIN' Stats 'O7,14,10,13,09,07'
...A NEUTRAL GOOD 'paladin' for god's sake !
..
Ye, but then I took more seriously and I saw that the guy who made it 'did' have a plan.
(yes, the class and the stats did get a lot more reasonable, even though I have trouble knowing some English expressions)

I'd change any uses of Cure Disease granted after 20th level to Divine Purge - gets rid of any non-Epic disease/curse/spell automatically, opposed CL check for Epic ones (use full Paladin level as CL). Then have an Epic feat that converts the pre-Epic ones to Divine Purge as well.

If you're strict about maintaining the progression, just have an Epic feat that changes all uses of Cure Disease to Divine Purge.

I like the divine purge idea...
