I was looking through the Epic feats and I saw one for Improved Spell Capacity, what does this mean? I only saw it mentioned somewhere and tried to figure it out, could someone explain it to me? :)

It is the most likely first epic spell for a straight caster. It gives you access to spell slots higher than the highest level available for your class. For a wizard, that would mean 10th level spells. It bumps up 1 every time you take the feat. You can then use Metamagic on lower level spells to make use of the slots: like Quickened Disintegrate, Maximized Delayed Blast Fireball, Empowered Polar Ray, and Silent Wish (all 10th level equivalent spells).

The feat gives you 1 slot, plus you gain bonus slots if you have high spellcasting ability. (You get 1 bonus slot for a wizard with INT 30, 2 for INT 34, etc.).

All the feats are in the Epic SRD: http://d20srd.org/

Silent Wish sounds like a really cool effect.

Keep in mind you dont HAVE to give yourself a 10th+ level slot. If you wanna give yourself an extra 7th level spell slot instead, you CAN do that with this feat instead. Why you would want to though is a hard question to answer, since you can always memorize a spell in a higher level spell slot.
