Wraith swarm [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-09-08, 12:45 PM In an adventure I'm creating, a moon sized entity (Atropus, elder evil) spews forth from a crator like hole, a swarm a wraiths (About 1,000 wraiths)
I want to treat it as a swarm attack, can this be done, and if so, how would I stat it out as a swarm attack?

03-09-08, 05:28 PM I believe there is a Swarm Template, although I'm afraid I don't know what book it's in.

That's 48 wraiths IIRC.
1 thousand wraiths=50 ft. cube. Collosal could work, but if you knew some greater-then-collosal size rules that would be good.
Assuming it is, in fact 48 dudes/mob, then 1000 wraiths=20 mobs, or 20 times the HD. Probably 20 times the damage too.

Ultimately just advance a mob of wraiths with whatever means necessary until it is strong enough to challenge your players.
