Didnt some other thread try to determine the best improvised weapon? I believe they came up with the hat rack. It has 10ft reach, and can trip and disarm.

51. The wizard's spellbook

My last wizard had a prismatic spray trap on his spell book that would go off when anyone but him touched it. It only saw combat once, when my wizard was caught off his guard, panicked, and threw the spell book at them. Petrification is awesome.

96. In one campaign a friend ran a ghostly dragon was being summoned when it's bones were immolated on the funeral pyre of the local chief who had slain the dragon. After the bones were pulled from the fire and the dragon's spirit appeased the PCs still had to prepare for an imminent invasion of hostile barbarians. It was then decided to load the dragon's bones on a wagon, set it on fire and then roll it down the hill into the advancing enemy army. The dragon was disturbed once again and destroyed the invading army.

So yea, Cursed Dragon Bones ftw.
