| savant_warlord1309-23-06, 09:36 PM | 1 Helmet/Necklace/Armor of Shrinking It shrinks, but the wearer doesn't. 2 Sticky Grenade It sticks to things before exploding, which would be a good thing, if that didn't make it so hard to throw. 3 Potion of Food Poisoning Nasty side effects. 4 Best Seller Anyone who begins reading this book must make a will save every night or only get 4 hours of sleep due to book reading. This ends when you finish the book. 5 Teleporting Armor It teleports, the wearer doesn't. 6 Vial of Healing Typically filled with acid or poison, this vial provides a heal effect if eaten. But the players probably won't think of that possibility. 7 Ring of Brick Falling Disguised as a ring of feather falling, anyone who falls while wearing this ring takes damage as if falling in a heavy gravity environment. 8 Spell Component Pouch of Shuffling While you sleep, all of your spell components get shuffled. Good luck casting spells when you don't know where the components are. 9 Pillow of Bedwetting Quite dangerous in colder climates, anyone who sleeps with their head on this pillow wets the bed during the night. 10 Watch of Time Stopping Basically gives everything but you the benefit of a time stop spell. Guarunteed to cause confusion in players. 11 Watery Death This Ring Gate's twin fell off a boat and into a deep-sea trench. 12 Heart of Vecna After cutting out your ally's heart you may notice that this dessicated heart does not replace the bodily functions of a real heart. 13 Coin with Extradimensional Space Inside Acts like a bag of holding, but has no opening. You know what happens when you put one extradimensional space inside another, don't you? 14 Feral Dancing Weapon When released, this dancing weapon will attack its previous wielder. |
| SageBahamut09-23-06, 10:36 PM | 15 Daffy Duck's Disintegrating Pistol - You pull the trigger and the pistol disintegrates? 16 The Bag of Rocks Anything put into this seemingly ordinary bag of holding is replaced with a normal, nonmagical rock approximately the size of a sling stone. (This was give to a PC in my game on Halloween, as a nod to Charley Brown who on Halloween said "I got a rock...") 17 Belt of Fairy Strength The name says it all. 18 Boots of Slipping and Falling Look like Boots of Jumping and Springing, but provide penalties to base speed and jumping instead. 19 Weapon of Dropping Appears as a weapon of Throwing and Distance, but when thrown simply drops ineffectually over the wielder's shoulder. 20 Figurine of Unimpressive Power When rubbed, turns the user into a small stone figurine. You remain in this form until someone rubs you. 21 Ring of Spell Wasting As a ring of spell storing, except there's no way to get the spells out. 22 Moveable Rod This Rod is treated as though it had Freedom of Movement. The user does not benefit from this ability, which makes the rod very difficult to grasp or carry. 23 Very Immovable Rod As an immovable rod, except there is no button to make it movable again. |
| savant_warlord1309-24-06, 09:54 AM | 24 +5 Dispelling greatsword Its hilarious when you see the barbarian dump his +4 greataxe for a sword that will dispel its own enhancement bonus in the first combat. |
| The_Normal_Anomaly09-24-06, 01:43 PM | 25. Sheath of Security Any blade placed into this sheath will instantly be locked into the sheath. The sheath itself is protected by a modified wall of foce and is nearly unbreakable. The blade can still be used with the sheath on just like a club of the blade's size, but at a -2 penalty. 26. Food of Glutton Slaying Looking like a large meal set out on a table, the sinister nature of this food is only noticed after eating. Once the creature has had it's fill of food, all it has eaten transforms his stomach into something akin to a bag of infinite holding. From this point on, the creature eats, it will not get any benefit from anything it ingests. It usually takes a while to die from this item, and the unfortunate creature will likely have eaten much to deal with it's hunger. Once the creature dies, the entire contents of the stomach of holding explode out of the creature, covering everyone nearby in rotting food. 27. Glasses of Negative Vision A simple pair of thick wireframe glasses, the fame made out of a gold/copper metal, when worn will initally seem to have no effect. The creature will still see normally out of the glasses, but when removed the creature will realize that it's vision has been severly degraded. It may not longer do anything requiring vision without wearing the glasses, minus looking for the glasses. The glasses allow it to see as before it put the glasses on. If the glasses are ever dropped, the creature must immediately take at least two rounds crawling around (5' as a full round action) in search of it's glasses to find them. If the glasses are ever broken, the creature still gets the penalties and is higly suggested to commision a new pair. The curse can only be broken by Wish, Reality Revision or Miracle. |
| BobTigerClaw09-24-06, 01:54 PM | 28 - greedy coins of paranoia gotta catch 'em all and keep them for myself where no one can find, because i know they're out there to get my coins, oh i can hear them plotting to take my pretty coins away... 29 - spoon of the tongue burned no matter how long you blow on your soup it's still boiling hot 30 - (insert funny name)'s helmet a helmet with pink feathers and smiling unicorns design, -4 to intimidate checks |

| The_Normal_Anomaly09-24-06, 07:40 PM | Well, it could have something to do with the reason why Reality Revision can't make the Tarrasque go bye-bye if you strictly follow the rules... or... ...I just never play divine casters and thus don't think about divine spells that often if ever. |
| QaenyinAngelblade09-25-06, 03:51 AM | 29:Wand of Spell Redirection You can store spells in this wand as per a Ring of Spell Storing, however the target of the wand is reversed;if the wielder targets themselves it targets the nearest creature other than the caster. If the caster targets anything except him/herself, the wand targets the caster. 30:Magnetic Pole Any metal object this Quarterstaff comes in contact with is permanently stuck to it, unless the quarterstaff is destroyed. Rather annoying when you are wearing magical rings and wielding this staff at the same time, since it tends to become extremely difficult to drop the weapon afterwards. 31:North Pole This quarterstaff always points north. Unfortunately, since the staff is symmetrical, there is no way to tell which end of the staff is actually the top. 32:South Pole As per the North Pole, only in reverse. |
| [GSV] Kirstar09-25-06, 11:35 AM | Cloak of Forgetful Displacement, Major: This item appears to be a normal cloak, but on command its magical properties distort and warp light waves. This displacement works just like the displacement spell and lasts for a total of 15 rounds per day, which the wearer can divide up as she sees fit. However unlike a normal Cloak of Major Displacement, there is a 50% chance that when the character attempts to turn the cloak on or off he forgets to actually do it and must try again next round. A Cloak of Forgetful Displacement is created when the creation of a normal cloak of displacement is completed incorrectly. As such the normal price in xp & gold applies to its creation. Moderate illusion; CL 7th; Craft Wondrous Item, Extend Spell, displacement; Price 50,000 gp;Weight 1 lb. |
| savant_warlord1309-29-06, 04:19 PM | 34. Cloaking Device When this single use item is activated, it bends light around everything in a 5 foot radius, effectively making things invisible. This is not foiled by see invisibility. However, the fact that the light goes around you means that you are blind. Not even devils can see when affected. Duration is 1 minute. |
