So I thought what other items would be useful...so here's a list: Door Rod Jam: This 3 1/2-foot metal rod is specially designed to be jamed under a door handle and firmly plant itself into stone or wooden flooring. Adds +4 to the break DC for the door. Weight: 4 lbs. Price: 3gp. Leather Umbrella: Protects you from rain and direct sun. Adds +2 to endurance checks in very dry and sunny environments. Also protects against rain (a boon to casters). Weight: 3 lbs. Price: 15gp. Tacks: Works just like caltrops, but only against unarmored (barefoot) opponents. Weight: 0.5 lbs. Price: 5sp Feather Duster: Great when you find that old abandoned library. Works against thin spider webs as well. Weight: 1 lb. Price: 7sp. Personal Cart: As a normal two-wheeled cart but made to be pulled by one medium-sized creature. Can hold upto 100 lbs. Weight: 75 lbs. Price: 8gp. Purfume Sprayer: Tiny, refillable spraryer. Can hold one vial of liquid and dispence into an adjacent square. Weight: 1/10 lb. Price: 10gp. Pocket Locket: A broach with a tiny locket able to hold one fine-sized item. Weight: 1/10 lb. Price: 10gp. Ring Locket: A ring with a tiny locket able to hold one fine-sized item. Weight: 1/10 lb. Price: 10gp. Waterproof bag: Many spellcasters use this to protect their scrolls and spellbooks for the accidental dip into water. Keeps the contents free from water upto a depth of 10-feet. The lining of the sack uses a specially designed wax seal that works in normal temperatures. Weight: 1 lb. Price: 20gp. Messenger's Scroll Case: This diminutive weather-proof scroll case can hold a small letter, approximately 50 words in length. These items are typically placed on the hide legs of trained animals. Weight: 1/10 lb. Price: 5gp. Bag of Powered Chalk: Sold in small pouches these pounded chalk are often used to aid in climbing (+1 synergy bonus) or to temporarily provide a cloud of dust (a 5-foot square, 10% concealment for 1 round), for a quick excape. Heavy Crowbar: This large crowbar is long enough that two people can use it at the same time. The crowbar is about 4-feet long and made from thick heavy metal. A heavy crowbar it grants a +4 circumstance bonus on Strength checks made for such purposes when used by two people. If used in combat, treat a crowbar as a two-handed improvised weapon that deals bludgeoning damage equal to that greatclub of its size. 22. Sticky Grappling Hook: This specially made grappling hook uses a tanglefoot bag's goo to attach to smooth surfaces. The hook can support up to 300 lbs. for 2d4 rounds before the grappling hook releases. Each use of the grappling hook requires one tagglefoot bag that takes a full-round and provokes an AoO (this round does not count against the length of time the hook can be stuck to a smooth surface). Weight: 4 lbs. Price: 25gp (not including the tagglefoot bag). 23. Foldable 5-foot step Ladder: Why? Why not. Weight: 15 lbs. Price: 2gp. 24. Crimson Lantern: This special hooded lantern has a crimson filter that clearly illuminates a 10-foot radius and provides shadowy illumination in a 20-foot radius. It burns for 6 hours on a pint of oil. You can carry a crimson lantern in one hand. Unlike a normal lantern that can be seen for many miles at night, this lantern does not reveal your position to anyone more than 1/2 mile away (1 mile if they have low-light vision). 25. Steel Jug: Like a normal jug but made from steel. It protects its contents better than its clay counterpart at the cost of weight. Weight: 12 lbs. Price: 5gp. 26. Steel Pitcher: Like a normal pitcher but made from steel. It protects its contents better than its clay counterpart at the cost of weight. Weight: 7.5 lbs. Price: 2gp. 27. Segmented 10-foot Pole: This pole is designed to unscrew from 5-foot sections. Multiple segmented 10-foot poles can be screwed together, end-to-end, but may break easily if their weight is not supported. Weight: 8 lbs. (4 lbs. per 5-foot section). Price: 6sp (3sp per 5-foot section). 28. Thigh Sheath: This sheath, straped around your thigh, allows for a small-sized weapon to be stored. Weight: — Price: 35gp. 29. Grease Bag: This is bag of oily animal matter coated with wax to protect its contents from exposure. When you throw a grease bag at a creature (as a ranged touch attack with a range increment of 10 feet), the bag comes apart and the oily animal matter bursts out, drenching the target. An drenched creature takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity and must make a DC 15 Reflex save or be fall to the floor. Even on a successful save, it can move only at half speed. Huge or larger creatures are unaffected by a grease bag. Flying creatures movement is not effected, but they must still make a a DC 15 Reflex save or suffer the penalties for their attacks and Dexterity. A grease bag does not function underwater. A creature that is covered by grease can light the grease on fire, but take 1d4 points of fire damage for 2 consecutive rounds to remove all the grease. A creature can scrape the grease off itself, by taking a full-round action, or another creature assisting as a move-equilvalent action. A character capable of spellcasting who is covered by the grease must make a DC 15 Concentration check to cast a spell. The grease becomes dry and brittle after 2d4 minutes, cracking apart and losing its effectiveness. Craft (Alchemy): DC 25; Weight: 4 lbs.; Price: 50gp. 30. Camelskin Backpack: This specially designed backpack allows its wearer to carry the equivalent of 10 waterskins of water on their back. Special reinforced ridges keep the backpack from collasping under the weight of the water. The skin of the backpack also resists evaporation in hot arrid environments. Weight: 15 lbs. Price: 50gp. 31. Woodrot Acid: This specially designed achemical liquid eats though wood or any cellulose based material at the rate of 2d10 points of damage per round and ignores hardness; its otherwise harmless to any other material. Craft (Alchemy) DC 20; Weight: 1 lb. Price: 20gp. 32. Screamstick: This 1-foot-long, copper-tipped, iron rod squeals loudly when struck. Its ear piecing sounds can be hears for miles. It sounds for 1 minute, after which the copper tip is burned out and worthless. This rod effectively blinds creatures that use blindsight or primiarly sound to locate creatures if they are within 20-feet of the rod. The rod works underwater.
