Not sure if your list is inclusive, but any action that moves you from one square to another would negate the ability to 5 foot step. You also can't take a 5 foot step in difficult terrain. Standing up is not moving out of threatened squares, so you can not gain the +4 AC on the AoO for standing up. |
| draconic_swine12-24-06, 11:51 AM | Actually, Mobility provides an AC bonus when moving within a threatened area too. From the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/feats.htm#mobility): You get a +4 dodge bonus to Armor Class against attacks of opportunity caused when you move out of or within a threatened area. It's up to your DM to intrepret whether "moving" is literally moving from one square to another or taking a move action. As for actions that prevent you from taking a five-foot step, there's also bull rush and overrun. What risner said was good advice, though: as long as you move at least one square in your turn, there goes your five-foot step. That's probably better to remember than a list. |
