Hey what would be the best weapons for two weapon fighting with a medium sized character Fighter. i would think either 2 bastard swords or 2 dwarven waraxes would be nice because of the d10s they give, and you could choose between the two for its crits. just tell me ur ideas please. :)

Kukris, or Light Picks IMO.

they're light, so you dont take mad penalties, and they have good crits.

damage dice dont matter after 10th level anyway, but crits do. plus you can finesse both of them if you need to,and weapon focus applies to both of the set (no mix n match)

seriously, whats the point of a bastard sword 2wf if you're taking -4 -4 penalties (barring any cheesy Complete feats) when you could take -2, -2 and crit more often or more painfully.

(dual wielding a pair of +1 burst/burst/burst/burst light picks is FUN. esp when you imp crit them)

The best TWF weapon in the PHB is the gnome hooked hammer.

It has pretty good crits, it has better damage than two light weapons, you can trip with it, it gives two damage types, and you can wield it two-handed when you only get a standard attack.
