Arquebus
500GP
5SP/Shot
25 Lbs.
1d12
20/x2
120 Ft.
Exotic Ranged 2 Handed
Piercing
This weapon deals 1d12 damage regardless of size.
All penalties for range are doubled when firing an arquebus.
When a 1 or 2 is rolled on an attack roll, the weapon backfires dealing 1d6 damage to the wielder and fouls. It takes 1d3 rounds for a proficient user to clean a fouled arquebus, and 1d20+10 minutes for a non-proficient user.
Point blank shot benefits double for the arquebus.
On a damage roll of 11-12 the arquebus deals an additional 1d12 of damage. Should an eleven or twelve be rolled on this die, the process is repeated until a 10 or lower is rolled. Critical damage applies only to the first die. If the ammunition gets wet (even while loaded) the powder becomes useless. If it does so while loaded, it must be cleaned as if fouled.
Loading an arquebus requires a full round action that provokes attacks of opportunity.

Nil
Exotic Two Handed
Slashing, Piercing, Bludgeoning
The Bec-de-corbin has on one side a hammer head, on the other a beak like hook, and on top a short blade. on a given attack, one may use any one of these attacks. the former does 1d6 bludgeoning with a 20/x3 critical. The second does 1d6 piercing with a 20/x4 critical. The pick side also has a +3 to hit against foes in half or full platemail. The latter does 1d6 damage with a 19-20/x2 critical and has -2 to attack when fighting armoured foes. This weapon does double damage if there are no obstacles (walls, creatures, etc.) of medium or larger size adjacent to the wielder.

Bill Guisarme
20GP
12 Lbs.
2d4
20/x3
Martial Two Handed
Slashing
The Bill Guisarme is a bizarre combination weapon derived from the bill hook. It consists of a standard Guisarme blade with spike attached to the back. This spike can be attacked with for piercing damage if there are no obstacles (walls, creatures, etc.) of medium or larger size adjacent to the wielder. this attack does 2d3x2 damage and has a +4 to the attack roll if against a creature wearing full or half plate. When attacking normally the weapon is considered a standard guisarme.

Fauchard
18GP
10 Lbs
1d10
20/x4
Martial Two Handed
Slashing
The fauchard consists of a scythe blade on a long pole, parallel to the shaft as opposed to perpendicular. The weapon can be used to make piercing damage at a -2 to the roll rather than a minus four.

Fauchard Fork
20 GP
10 Lbs
2d4
20/x4
Martial Two Handed
Slashing
This is an attempt to improve the fauchard through the inclusion of a fork on the back of the blade. As such, it gains a plus 2 bonus on opposed attack rolls on disarm attempts.

Most of the polearms were updated by Dragon/Dungeon magazines. You can find them in the Dragon Compendium.
