| Thorak02-14-05, 07:04 AM | The same. In 3.0, the Fullblade, the "ogre's bastard sword", was a 2d8 19-20x2 weapon that enforced a -2 penalty to hit on its Medium wielder, and required an EWP to wield two-handed. In 3.5, a Large bastard sword (in other words, a bastard sword sized for an ogre...) is a 2d8 19-20x2 weapon that enforces a -2 penalty to hit on its Medium wielder, and requires an EWP to wield two-handed. A fullblade is a Large bastard sword. Was in 3.0, though they named it something special because they used different weapon sizing rules. In 3.5, it's a Large bastard sword and needs no special name. |

A large creature can use it in 1 hand but suffers the standard nonproficiency penalty -4 to all his attack rolls, or with 2 hands as a martial weapon. A large creature with exotic weapon proficiency could use the fullblade in 1 hand with no penalty. A fullblade is also called an ogre's greatsword |
