Same as one not made from Darkwood. Though, the armor check penalty is lessened by two. Mithril will reduce the casting penalty.

So a +1 Steel buckler and a +1 Darkwood buckler has the same arcane spell failure?

Yep, Darkwood properties are in the DMG.

Also note that by the RAW, bucklers are made only of metal, not wood.

Seeing as to how they're generally used, I'd say that's a very good thing.
