Has Wizards reprinted the whipdagger in 3.5? If so, where?

I do not believe they have reprinted it anyplace... but that doesn't mean it is not still a viable weapon... 3.0 stuff is still valid, unless WotC specifically tells us otherwise or changes it in reprinting it (at least that is what WotC told us at the time of the 3.0-3.5 switch).

Thanks. It would be a one handed weapon now, correct?

since that is what a normal whip is I can so no reason to make the whip-dagger any different.

my guess is DU134 p50 might stand for Dungeon Issue 134, page 50... I would check to make sure, but I am missing that issue of dungeon.

Whirlwind attack is no option for a Whip Dagger, as you use it in all regards like a ranged weapon. Including attack options. Rapid Shot should work, though.

Not in 3.5. It's a melee weapon, WWA works fine and Rapid Shot doesn't.

The whip dagger was also reprinted in Dragon 353 (March 07).

Did these reprints actually change anything at all from the AaEG, or was it more "Look what we just invented by looking at our old books!"?

It is a melee weapon, how you doing anything ranged with it?

It functions just like a whip in 3.5, except it deals 1d6 slashing/19-20.

And it can damage creatures with armor.

1d6 now? Then it is a total upgrade. Never use a normal whip again...

Was there a reason to use a normal whip before?
