| DraconsNighthawk12-30-05, 08:27 PM | A friend of mine wants to know if its possible for the robe of the archi mage to have a enhancment bonus, like +1 +2 +3 etc for the armor part. Is this possible or? |
| sooperspook12-30-05, 09:04 PM | sure. costs a butt load tho. i think the limit is +8 like Bracers. |
| Kyuketsukiouji12-30-05, 11:37 PM | Robes of the Archmagi already give a +5 armor bonus. |
| Ged Coldplain12-31-05, 10:57 AM | maybe he wants to increase the bonus? |
| RaspK FOG12-31-05, 11:08 AM | The OP seems to question whether the item can also have an enhancement bonus laid on the rest of the armour bonus... My idea would be that this is something of a conundrum; almost traditionally, Bracers of Armour grant a maximum of 8 points worth of Armour Class, while a robe or vestment never (as far as I remember) granted more than a +5 bonus, which sort of reflects the typical maximum enhancement bonus armours have, also in relation to the magic vestment spell... All in all, I wouldn't allow it... A robe sort of replaces an armour in a fashion that makes it a sort of poor relative in terms of Armour Class. |
