Just a bit of fun...

Since dead Goblins end up everywhere, especially at low levels, it might be environmentally friendly to recycle their little, rotting cadavers.

1) Combine with a Light spell for a very strange torch

2) Use the head as a bowling ball

3) Petrify the corpse and use it as a sled

7: Tie a rope around it and use it to check for traps.

Toss it as far ahead of you as you can, drag it back. You can now assume fairly safely that the floor along that stretch isn't trapped.

8: store in your spare bag of holding and upend the whole thing over a town you don't like.

9: store weapons in it for extra diseasy goodness when you carve things up with them.

And since 3 per post seems to be the going trend, I'm going to have to throw in a 4th

10: strip the corpse and use the skeleton as your Bard's favorite instrument.

7: Tie a rope around it and use it to check for traps.

It can also make a nice improvised weapon in this way.

7: Tie a rope around it and use it to check for traps.

Toss it as far ahead of you as you can, drag it back. You can now assume fairly safely that the floor along that stretch isn't trapped.Dang it, that was going to be mine! Especially after the group I was DMing realized that I like using traps, so they took a goblin captive, tied it up and put it inside their handy haversack (they left it unzipped so air could get in). After getting flame-struck by a resetting magical trap, they took the goblin out as used it as flame bait. After that, the golbin offered to disarm the trap for them (the goblin was a rogue who turned out to have more ranks in disarm device than the party rogue). To prove that it was disarmed, they made the gobbo walk down the hall-way. He did disarm the flamestrike trap. Problem was, the fusillade of spears trap at the other end of the hallway killed the goblin. So they tied up the corpse and threw it around everywhere to check for more traps.

9. Tie several of them up and use them as anchors for a small boat.

10. Let the putrify and then use the bloated bodies as floats to walk across water.

11. Use them as fish bait... for sharks.

12. Build a house out of their bones.

13. Load them into a trebuchet and lay siege to a neighboring country.

14. Animate into cheap and expendable zombies (a whole tribe of zombies!).

15. Animate into cheap and expendable zombies, then equip them all with necklaces of fireballs, send them into another tribe of goblins, then shoot one with a fireball yourself.

16. Make a goblin-skin coat.

17. Make them into zombies, coat them with Gunpowder, gas, and lighter fluid, make them hold 2 large kegs of gunpowder in each arm, get a bow with a flaming arrow, and when the zombies are close enough to your target, fire away.

18. Make a Blowtorched Barbecue with the Goblin bodies.

19. Put them on a stick, and throw like a handgrenade into trapzones.

20. Fillet them, and make them into a jury-rigged version of Sushi for treats for the orcs :D

Step 3: use a catapult to chuck it into a city you are laying seige to.
Step 4: repeat steps 2-3 until the majority of the city has been killed or incapacitated by disease
Step 5: slay remaining defenders
Step 6: clean up the mess and make the city habitable
Step 7: repopulate, leaving a cohort/trusted ally to be the mayor
Step 8: repeat steps 1-7 until your new kingdom has grown to your desired size
