But just to be a jerk i would say bigger than a light shield and smaller than a tower

11-18-05, 11:51 PM A heavy shield is the same size class as a one-handed weapon, so for a Medium creature, it would be Small.

If you're looking for an actual size to compare with historical shields or something, you'll need help from somebody else.

11-19-05, 12:10 AM It's however big you want it to be. I would indeed say the shield you're looking for is larger than a buckler or light shield but small than a tower shield and that this is about as specific of a description as you're going to get.
