Heyyo, I've looked around a bit and didn't see any threads about this (can't find a search function either)

I was reading through my newest book Weapons Of Legacy, and saw multiple refreneces to the "vicious" category of weapons. I didn't see an explanation of what vicious was in that book or the DMG either... does anyone have the reference material for it?

thanks

Vicious is in the DM Guide, in the weapons section of the magic items chapter. It deals extra damage whenever it hits, but it also deals damage to the wielder.

does anyone have the reference material for it?It can be found here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/magicWeapons.htm#vicious) (or below):
Vicious
When a vicious weapon strikes an opponent, it creates a flash of disruptive energy that resonates between the opponent and the wielder. This energy deals an extra 2d6 points of damage to the opponent and 1d6 points of damage to the wielder. Only melee weapons can be vicious.
