A question about disarm [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-21-05, 01:02 AM I've been playing for a little over a year now and i still have a lot to learn. Latly I have been wondering if true strike works with disarm.

10-21-05, 11:27 AM That is correct. But you still need Improved Disarm feat, or the AoO is likely to force you to waste your attack.

10-22-05, 09:35 AM Use a masterwork whip for +3 to Disarm. Even with the -4 non-profiency penalty (for most characters), you'll still have a pretty good True Strike/Disarm roll, and its 15 ft. reach means your opponent rarely gets an AoO. (This tactic is really useful only for levels 1-6; after that, you probably have better things to do with your time.)
