Does that mean I would have to take, for example, weapon focus (greatsword) for it to apply to my elven courtblade? And if so, does that mean I'd have the +1 bonus for BOTH the greatsword and Elven courtblade? |
| allenchan12-14-06, 07:16 PM | Yes, and yes. To go a step further, Complete Adventurer IIRC has a fairly completely list of "if you have exotic weapon X, then feats associated with martial weapon Y apply to it" |

| allenchan12-14-06, 07:29 PM | First, let us clarify, they MAY treat it as a greatsword, they do not HAVE to. However, the only time I could see them not is if they did not possess martial weapon profiency, only EWP. Secondly, Races of the Wild has an explicit list of what feats it may count as a greatsword for. Given that it was published before the PHB2, and Weapon Supremacy is a contination of the same feat tree, I see no reason to actively forbid it, but strictly RAW, no you cannot. |
