02-09-06, 04:01 PM Just a quick little question.

A Dwarf Barbarian in a Breastplate, what land speed does he have?

30 feet, because of the 20 base, and 10+ from Barbarian? This assumes that the Barbarian part isn't reduced because of Medium Armour. I can't figure it out. The dwarf text is not really clear around that.

02-09-06, 04:09 PM A dwarf’s base land speed is 20 feet. However, dwarves can move at this speed even when wearing medium or heavy armor or when carrying a medium or heavy load.
Fast Movement (Ex)
A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for his race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn.

I can see how there might be a mix up, "dwarves can move at this speed even when ....", however the Barbarian ability modifies the base speed. So I would say a dwarf barbarian's speed is 30 while in medium.
