tedbomb 10-02-06, 03:33 AM	i have recently been blessed by the holy and gracious, all powerful DM Dan the Man with an intelligent weapon with an ego score of 16. the sword has the spirit of fallen comrade in it (a friend who couldnt come play on sunday anymore.) my question is, how does this affect my will saves at all when ,say, i am being dominated by a vampire? does it give me some kind of bonus? is it like a spell resistance to will saves below 16? does it do nothing? cuz thankfully, we are both LG, but if i do something out of alignment, the sword tries to dominate me. so lets say i fail a save and i get dominated by a vampire and then i am forced to jump off a cliff? does the sword get to attempt to save me? the DM guide is not clear on this. any opinions? any house rules? this is the first intelligent weapon i have played with and its all so new and crazy.
