Okay folks, I need some help here:

I'm designing a shield . . . . but no ordinary shield, no. It's a cursed, intelligent caster's shield that I'm creating for one of the braggart characters in our play group. The curse is designed to make the shield ever-present on the weilder's person and can never be moved more than 5 feet away from him or her. The other part of the curse is that the shield was once a VERY powerful (and arrogant) wizard, and despite his form, still considers himself the be the best spellcaster in existance. With the weilder being of the same mindset, I'm sure hilarity will ensue. Regardless, once we eventually find and defeat the person or people responsible for our new companion's affliction, the curse will be lifted and the wizard will be set free from his shieldly confines [and relish us with lavish, level-appropriate gifts :P].

But I have a problem. A small, seemingly innocuous problem that I simply can't overcome: I can't think of a name for the shield.

Can you help?

Stubborn Shield of Spellcasting?

It would help if you listed any other abilities the sheild has.

It would have to be something over the top. And as always (with haughty mages), the more alliteration the better.

Such as:

Reilos the Resplendent, Rampart of Runic Ruminations

or

Belthor the Blessed, Bulwark of Boisterous Brigandry

Kelminrak
Wielder of Arcane Forces
Keeper of Universal Secrets
etc. etc. etc.
