No

And may I ask why, and by what rule are you basing your answer ?

Both of them give Enhancement bonuses. Bonuses of the same type do not stack, with the exception of dodge, unnamed, racial and sometimes circumstance.

But where is that rule written ?

From the basics section:

Stacking

In most cases, modifiers to a given check or roll stack (combine for a cumulative effect) if they come from different sources and have different types (or no type at all), but do not stack if they have the same type or come from the same source (such as the same spell cast twice in succession). If the modifiers to a particular roll do not stack, only the best bonus and worst penalty applies. Dodge bonuses and circumstance bonuses however, do stack with one another unless otherwise specified.

Thanks for the SRD reference. But what I meant is, where is it written in the official books like y'know the DMG and the Players Handbook ? Someone got any idea about this ?

And what about the hammer of thunderbolts ?

To get full functionality from the Hammer of Thunderbolts you used to need both the Guntlets of Ogre Power and a Girdle of Giant Strength.

Does the Hammer of Thunderbolts exist anymore?

Yep, it's a minor artifact. The mention of the rules is right before the magic item section if memory serves.

The SRD reference is pretty much a word for word copy of the official books with certain things left out, such as the amount of XP it takes to level up and the expected gold per character level.

If it is in the SRD, it is in either the PHB or DMG. The SRD has no new stuff.

If you don't accept the SRD, then honestly you should not be accepting the PHB or DMG as 'proof'.

PHB page 171-172 has information on stacking effects of spells (and includes effects from other sources like magical items).

No, and I have a question for you.

Why in the would would you even think they would stack for a fraction of a second?

Well, they did USED to stack back in 1st & second edition. So it's also easy for old school gamers to get confused ont he point.

Well, with respect to 2nd edition, they didn't stack either with the exception of the Hammer of Thunderbolts. 2nd edition gauntlets of ogre power gave 18/00 strength and the belts gave strength scores between 19 and 24. The bonuses from both didn't stack with each other except if you got your grubby little hands on the Hammber of Thunderbolts.
