So im creating a new character for a campaign startin in august and after talking with the DM i decided to model the char(mainly the weapons) after some japenese mythology. Started with the classic masamune/muramasa parallel but then i ran acrous the four gods from chinese constelation.

Long story short i decided to use this instead. (Four Gods of Heaven (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ssu_Ling))

I decided to model one sword off the white tiger Byakko the protector and element of wind, and the other off Genbu the Black Warrior Turtle-Snake and element of earth. The problem is im not sure how to achieve this with enchantments. I was thinking Byakko having the defender enchantment and the Genbu having uh... Vicious or soemthing.

Also a way to incorpate the Azure Dragon(likely would be my char) and the Phoenix would be cool. I was thinking my armor would display the Azure Dragon but come up short for the Phoenix.

Are you hoping to create unique items (possibly artifact-level?), or just what enhancements to add to a pair of swords?

mainly enchantments to add to the sword. the other way would be weapons of legacy but since i havent talked to the DM about that im just goin with enchantments.
