What exactly does it do? Thorn's are in the monster manual III, but it only gives a description for the sleep arrows, not the thorn longsword.

Could someone please tell me what it does, and/or where I can find that information for myself?

Thanks

There are no special rules for the Thorn longsword (and they're not magical either), since the only reason they're called "Thorn longsword" is because they're made of thorns instead of iron or whatever a sword is normally made of.

So, it works exactly like a normal masterwork longsword in almost all cases.

Their attack bonus is "Thorn Longsword +8", and that longsword deals 1d6+3, so you can use that information to determine the exact stats of the sword.

The creature has a BAB of +3, and it has a STR bonus of +3, it has the +1 bonus for being small, and it also has Weapon Focus(Longsword) -- so that makes a total of +8 bonus. This means it is a normal (not masterwork) longsword.

It is definitely not magical (in the sense of weapon enchantments), because the damage it deals is 1d6+3, and the +3 comes purely from the creature's STR bonus.

Edit: Whether anyone in the campaign world will care for such a "collector's item" is up to you, but you may have trouble finding buyers for fear of some kind of Fey curse on them.

Otherwise, personally I would treat them as if it was a sword forged with permanent Ironwood, although it does not have an enhancement bonus and cannot be Dispelled.
