| The Debonair Swordsman03-11-05, 08:48 AM | Is that possible?? |
| SALDAR03-11-05, 09:04 AM | Yes. The Throwing enhancement makes it a ranged weapon so the Distance and Seeking enhancements could be added. |
| Vatras03-11-05, 09:04 AM | Theoretically yes...you might have to make it throwing first and do the returning in a second batch, because it works only on ranged weapons...but thats for the rules gurus to sort out. |
| lukelightning03-11-05, 09:12 AM | How about a double weapon? What if only one end had returning? |
| Ogre4Hire03-11-05, 01:35 PM | Then you'd end up with 1/2 a weapon the first time you used it.:D |
| DM Zoc03-11-05, 04:08 PM | The part I don't understand about the "Returning" ability is that it can only be applied to weapons that can be thrown. The thing is, though, that just about any weapon can be thrown: sure, almost anyone can throw a dagger just fine, but you can also throw a longsword at just a -4 penalty (the same as if you were throwing a dagger sized for a creature two sizes larger than you); a crossbow can most certainly be thrown, and it would deal damage as per an improvised club. This is of particular interest to me because I like the Throw Anything feat, and have a fondness for scythes. |
| Fenris Frost03-11-05, 07:07 PM | Well, just take the cost of a masterwork scimitar, lets say double it to say that it's been designed for throwing, and voila you have a throwable scimitar with no minuses and you get to put all the nifty enhancements on it. |
