| felinoel10-31-05, 09:52 PM | is there any? the main reason is because i am making an exemplar and it would be awesome to fight with my feet, the books i have to look from are, phb 3.0, arms and equiptment 3.0, dmg 3.0, monster manuals 1-3, phb 3.5, epic level handbook, masters of the wild, sandstorm 3.5, complete adventurer 3.5, and complete warrior |
| ksbsnowowl10-31-05, 10:38 PM | The only one I know of is the boot knife (exotic) from the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, though it might also appear in the Arms and Equip Guide |
| Novacat10-31-05, 10:38 PM | What I would do if I wanted to wield light weapons with my feet is ask my DM to allow me to take a feat (no pun intended), which allows me to do so, taking, say, a -4 penalty to hit, but gaining +3 AC (slightly better than fighting defensively) due to the sheer craziness confusing your enemies. |
| Fanged Fremont10-31-05, 10:43 PM | I think there were some wicked looking spiked boots in Races of the Wild. They were retractable or something. Can't remember, DM confiscated my books for learningation. |
| Rierevin10-31-05, 11:07 PM | the foot spikes from races of wild are mainly used for flying combat but can be used in normal combat by taking a -4 penalty to attack and a penalty to his land speed. these are exotic weapons of course. |
| synth11-01-05, 12:01 AM | I'd go with the Gae Bolge, the legendary javalin of Cuchulainn, the hero of the Tain bo Cuailnge(Celtic Mythology, from the Ulster Cycle). It was a javalin that went in the body with a single wound, but had multiple prongs, so it had to be cut out to remove. Very deadly. Of course, only he could use it, and he had to hurl it with his feet. :P Yeah, now I feel like a mythology dork. Stupid College. |

Stupid College. thats the greatest weapon EVER but wasnt that the monkey god, if you said that, it would have explained why it was thrown by the feet lol, too bad my dm wont allow it :weep: |
| mvincent11-01-05, 03:26 PM | Armor spikes |
| felinoel11-01-05, 04:58 PM | Armor spikes i see, anything else? |
| mvincent11-01-05, 05:05 PM | i see, anything else?Monk |
| felinoel11-01-05, 05:55 PM | Monk lol thats not a weapon it is a class, and im being a bard/exemplar |
| Tenreo11-01-05, 07:07 PM | I know of no official weapons to add to the discussion, but I would suggest a reasonable houserule addition. Since an unarmed attack could be made with feet, it would seem reasonable a gauntlet equivelent (armoured boots?) could be made for them. You can have a spiked guantlet, so how about spiked boots? |
| Rulebook11-01-05, 09:40 PM | if you want to do stuff like that, be a Monk/Thief Acrobat, not a bard/exmeplar. |
| felinoel11-02-05, 12:26 AM | if you want to do stuff like that, be a Monk/Thief Acrobat, not a bard/exmeplar. what foot weilding weapon would a monk/theif acrobat use? |
| Novacat11-02-05, 01:15 AM | lol thats not a weapon it is a class, and im being a bard/exemplar Anything can be a weapon if you're sufficiently larger than it. Monks happen to make effective throwing stars for titans. |
| Wolfpack11-02-05, 01:33 AM | Anything can be a weapon if you're sufficiently larger than it. Monks happen to make effective throwing stars for titans. LOL Sigged |
| Rulebook11-02-05, 01:06 PM | what foot weilding weapon would a monk/theif acrobat use? why, his own foot of course. he suffers no penalties for fighting in a non standard pose anymore, so he's gonna go hog wild on his hands, elbows standing on his head, using his fists and feet etc |
| felinoel11-02-05, 08:51 PM | why, his own foot of course. he suffers no penalties for fighting in a non standard pose anymore, so he's gonna go hog wild on his hands, elbows standing on his head, using his fists and feet etc well duh his foot but i dont like using natural weapons like that |
| CommanderFalken11-02-05, 09:31 PM | Boot Blade, or something like that. It's in FRCS. |
| felinoel11-03-05, 12:32 PM | Boot Blade, or something like that. It's in FRCS. nice i saw this but it is too wweak so i decided to get some rope and tie a blade on the bottom of my foot lol its my new shoe! |
| Rulebook11-03-05, 01:01 PM | that would do siginifgantly less damage actually. a blade boot has far better leverage and bracing for attacking thana mere rope and blade. you could try to make a spike harness, which would basically be an expensive way to get armor spikes without armor. |
