this one is disturbing me for a while...

in the DMG says that a weapon or a armor canīt have a enhancement bonus higher than +5. but can the total magic abilities (like dancing, speed, and so on) get more than +5 equivalence? for example, is a +1 flaming(+1) speed(+3) shortsword of wounding(+2) doable? it would be a +7 sword, I fail to see this as unbalanced or wrong...

is this incorrect?

You've got it right.

It's max +5 enchantment pure. But it's +10 total max.

Your sword is +1 enchantment pure, and +6 other, for +7.

You could actually add up +1 enchantment pure and +9 other total, for +10 total, and be legal.

That's what I was thinking...

I have another doubt, and I donīt want to create another thread for this, becouse I 'm sure it was already discussed, but I do not remember what was decided after all.
Do you get to keep a buclker bonus while using a bow with the improved blucker defense from CW?

weapons have no limitation. however they go epic if you have more than +10 see epic lvl handbook
