As long as my character had his wits about him and was not flat-footed or otherwise immobilized, I gained my BAB towards my AC. I don't typically argue with rewards, especially something that nice, but I had to question his mentality. Is it just me, or does this award a bit much? I like the flavor, but over the long term the award seems extreme to me. Is it as unbalanced as it seems? Would limiting it to half of your class level help any? Thanks for your opinions, |

It also has its place on low magic worlds where attack bonuses greatly outstrip AC. In canon D&D part of it would depend whether it is a named bonus to AC or not, but in any case making it equal to BAB is far, far to high. At best is should be half BAB. |
