Hi, I can't find any info on this from the PHB index, so I was hoping you guys can help me out. What is the AC of an unattended object? Is it just 10? Does it make a difference if the object is an intelligent item or an artifact?

An unattended object has a dexterity of 0, so it's base AC will be 5. In addition, it has a -2 penalty to AC. This will be modified by it's size. If you take a full-round action to make the attack, you get a +5 bonus to your attack roll.

Check the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/exploration.htm#armorClass) out for the exact text. I believe it's in chapter 9 of the PHB, but don't quote me on that.
