Adamantine and Shields? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-21-07, 10:56 AM it says in the DMG that you can get Shields made of Adamantine, well instead of the increased HP and Hardness what other benefit does it do for shields? Seems kind of expensive when with a 2000K you can put a +1 mod on it that increases hits hardness already.

07-21-07, 11:30 AM Your shield bash will bypass DRX/Adamantine, as well.

That's about it. It's tougher to break when it's Adamantine, without taking up your enhancement bonuses.
