Ok Adamantine Heavy Armor gives Damage reduction 3/- (Not 3/Adamantine), would a Adamantine Weapon over come this?

easy - nothing overcomes DR X/-, the fact that it is adamantine armour providing it makes no difference.

Adamantine weapons overcome DR x/adamantine, not DR x/-

Ok so why does Adamantine Armor give you X/- not X/Adamantine...that what doesn't make sense to me!

Adamantine weapons bypass the hardness of anything with a hardness of less than 20. Adamantine has a hardness of 20, so such weapons have no special ability to slice through it.

This is to say, adamantine goes through everything except adamantine.

Adamantine is tough stuff, even against other adamantine. Its hard for a blade to punture it or cut through it, even if the weapon is made from adamantine as well.
