How much would an adamantine dwarven buckler-axe cost? A regular dwarven buckler-axe costs 20 gp, but I don't know how to price a shield made of adamantine, or how it affects the weapon half.

add the price for a light weapon made out of adamantine ... it is primarily a weapon with some exotic abilities right?

do you just want an adamantine blade? otherwise its useless for a shield, as i dont belive (beyond being hard to sunder) adamantine helps a shield any.

well you could look at it one of two ways,

1. The shield is all composed of metal and since you cannot mix materials the whole thing would have to be adamantine to get the benefit.

2. It is a composite device anyway, handaxe-like blade mounted to a wooden buckler. The damage is identical to a hand axe so just use the price of the handaxe to calculate the cost of making only that portion out of adamantine.

Thanks. I've been trying to think of ways to improve my buckler, and that was one option to add.

just make it +2, or +1 with other abilities, the adamantine will cost too much, 3000 for the weapon or 5000 for the light armor cost for the shield. and for not too much benefit. Just hold a dagger in that hand or something. You could get the +2 or +1 with Light Fortification, or +1 Blinding, for a nice effect.
