09-09-06, 09:07 PM Hmm... Interesting choice. I'd take the price of a chest, and add the price of Light armor, though it would depend on the size of the chest. How big would it be(Yes, I just asked that :D )?

Let's say you price it by the pound and make it the same weight as a chest in the PHB with the size you'd like. The metal will be much thinner then the wood it replaces in the chest, but much stronger, so use the hardness of adamantine, the weight of the chest as normal, and give it five times the hitpoints of the wooden verison of the chest.

Then just make it the cost of the chest + the cost by weight of the admanatie.

Well because i recently gave them way too much treasure from a dragons hoarde so i had to steal alot of it back using a NPC rogue one was angered slightly at the theft and wanted to make a 'safe' that he could track with locate object :)

I think the player has a good idea, just make sure he knows the limits of his locate spell. I would suggest twin magically linked "markers", one for the chest and one to use as a focus for a scry spell.

Just take the (empty) chest weight and multiply it by 850, and you get the price for an adamantine chest.

09-10-06, 08:49 PM AN adamintine chest would not be as expensives as armor because it would not be worked like armor it would be cast then joined together in some fashion. I would make tounge and grove joins and then either weld or use a molten metal tofasten the joins. hinges work the same way as they do on a normal chest just takes longer. For cost I would say the price of a the size chest wanted pllus master work cost + the price of the number of asamintine ingots needed for the weight of the metal.
