ok now I look in the book.... it says large greatsword is 20 hp (10x2 for being large) and has a hardness of 10.... now it being adamantine... gives it a hardness of 20... however under hp of adamantine it says 40/inch of thickness....
my question is if I have a +5 Keen Adamantine Greatsword (large) would its hp be 20 and its hardness be 20? or would its hp be ALOT more? (I know theres something in there about it having more hp because of enchantment bonus.... right? but I can't find it)

Sorry hit the wrong button.

Look up pg. 283 of DM 3.5 there is a table that gives the prices for Admant. look about 3 lines above it the greatsword is listed in there as an example.

That inch of thickness bit is just for walls and stuff made from it.

Each point of enhancement bonus ups the hardness by 2 and the hit points by 10. It'd have a hardness of 30 and 70 hp. It might not be in your printing of the DMG, but it is in the errata.
