Adamantite Warforged Barbarian Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

So, an adamantide warforged gets DR/Adamantite. A high level barbarian gets dr/-. Does this stack? If A warforged has DR 4/ad and DR 2/- does this mean that they take 6 fewer points of damage in general and 2 less from adamantium weapons?

DR doesn't stack - you just apply the best one for any given situation.

Using your warforged barbarian as an example: If I smack him with a +5 mace, the 4/Adamantine kicks in, because it's the best one to apply in this instance. If, however, I smack him with a +5 adamantine mace, the 2/- kicks in, because it becomes the best for the situation.

Note that since Adamantine Body counts as heavy armor for certain class features, some of your barbarian's abilites cannot be used
