Korlall 01-05-07, 11:11 PM	In the FR books that I jsut love to read, Drizzt's saga the most, the adamentite exotic metal melts when exposed to sunlight. I was wondering if in the Greyhawk setting, this was the same... Looks like the DMG says nothing about this.

IdleAltruism 01-06-07, 12:40 AM	Hmm I don't every remember them melting. Because they were drow made they lost their enchantment when introduced to sunlight.

All Drow weapons have the Drowcraft (Underdark, page 68) special ability. It gives a few bonuses but it forces the weapon to make a DC 8 Fort save or disintegrate in sunlight.
enygmatic_me 01-06-07, 01:51 AM	If I remember correctly, in 2E the material that a Drow used to make their weapons supplied a lot of bonuses but did, automatically, turn to dust when exposed to direct sunlight. It is different (as has been pointed out above) in 3.5. The books you are reading as based on 2E and thus the confusion.
