| Asm0dai11-02-04, 07:06 AM | Just wondering what type the extra damage is with magic weapons, such as a Bane weapon or the Dwarven Thrower for example. Do you just keep it the same as the Base Weapon, or simply leave it "undefined"? |
| CruelDM11-02-04, 09:22 AM | I would think its a magic enhancement bonus damage to the original weapons type (slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning). It cannot be undefined because of the DR rules, if nothing else its defined as "Magic" as it would be according to the DR section. |
| calypso11-02-04, 09:26 AM | Depends... usually it says... "2d6 extra holy damage" "1d6 extra fire damage" etc. Bane just says an additional 2d6 damage, so my thought would be that it's just magic damage. So the damage would overcome DR X/magic. Calypso |
