| yellowdingo11-16-05, 12:12 AM | I'm looking for stats on the meat cleaver as a weapon as well as some other unusual weapon types to be found in a slaughterhouse district such as meat hooks. 1. Meat cleaver 2. Meat Hook 3. Other |

Basically the same as a dagger, only it is meant for more of a chopping motion than slicing, hence the x3 critical. A meathook would probably be 1d3 (20x3) Piercing and would have a similar penalty to attack, but you might be able to grant it the ability to attempt a grapple after a successful hit with the option to avoid the counter-grapple by letting go of the meathook on a failed grapple check. Other things to be found at a "slaughterhouse district": Weapons/Utensils coated in chicken blood (disease instead of poison) Large Bones or hams as improvised clubs: 1d6-2 (20x2) Bludgeoning, -2 to attack A jawbone would make for an improvised handaxe: 1d6-2 (20x3) Slashing, -2 to attack A sausage used as a sap: 1d4-2 (20x2) Subdual, -2 to attack, deals subdual only, can deal additional subdual with Sneak Attack A bagful of live, hungry rats emptied onto someone's head: just use the Rat Swarm entry and give it a surprise round. Salt to be thrown in people's eyes (or open wounds) |
