I'm currently playing a Raptorian Beguiler with a strength of 9. One of the major things I want to pick up right now is a HHH. I'm currently carrying a normal haversack that has a secret flap and lead lining (DC: 25 Search to fnd). I want to get the bag I already have made into a HHH but with the addition of the space inside the hidden flap acting as a third smaller storage space with half the size and weight limit (1cu. ft. or 10lbs.). This space isn't any bigger than the space hidden in my bag now but it would cut down on the weight of carried objects stored in the hidden space. I ws wondering how much this alteration to a standard HHH would cost.

I think the only answer is: ask your DM.

There aren't really any rules for sewing, though there are some rules for hidden pockets in Complete Scoundrel.

He's not talking about altering the physical bag, the 4th pouch is already there. He's talking about making the pouch a 4th extradimensional space on a Heward's Handy Haversack, with half of the capacity of the 2nd & 3rd.

But the answer's pretty much the same: Ask your DM. I'd guess probably a couple hundred extra GP cost.

Sounds reasonable. The hidden pouch is currently holding an evil spiked glove that the party doesn't want me to have because the last time I put it on it tried to take over my mind and get me to use it to eat their souls. They think I gave it to a monestary for safe keeping. I can't decide whether to sell it or get it redeemed.

But what would it be redeemed to? The BoED gives the example for the Nine-Lives Stealer which then becomes a regular enchanted sword. Wouldn't hurt to see if you could give it to a holy church/organization in exchange for free spell casting or some other service. Would be somewhat the same as selling it and they would decide whether to redeem or destroy it. Of course, depending on your characters alignment perhaps he wouldn't have any misgivings about selling a corrupt item. Btw, did you see my link about animal tricks that I posted on your mouse thread?

You are going to have to bundle that glove up in leather and cloth, otherwise when you stick it in the HHH, you may rip it causing the items to be lost.

Perhaps, but sharp items piercing extra-dimensional containers is perhaps the least enforced rule about them.

DM would be the first point of call, but if it were me:

1) Take it from the current total storage volume of the HHH and make a nominal crafting fee (~100-200gp), to adjust the bag.

2)Work out what 1 cubic ft costs as a portion of the total bag cost and pay that.

3) Cast that familiar's pouch or whatever it is that creates a 1ft cubic storage space on an object and permanency it.

There's also something from Complete Adventurer, I think, called an Opposum
Pouch or something like that. Not sure your gauntlet would fit in it though, as
the description says small items only, but does mention weapons like daggers
can be stored in it, and the search DC is 30 cause it magically melds to your
body. Your DM may allow you to buy both, and add a nominal cost to have it
be a modified combination item. (By 'both' I mean a HHH and the pouch.) Or
you could just use the pouch as is.

1 cubic foot would cost 166.67gp (2,000gp for the 12cu ft item). With the additional work involved, I think 200 would be fair.
