I find at the higher levels all my players gravitating towards the Celestial Armor, if they can get their hands on it. So I am asking, do you know of any alternatives, in the same price range? I am especially looking for other good light armors. I have most 3/3.5 supplements, so references by page number would be greatly appreciated.

I've been browsing through my books, but just seems to be the "best" Light armor published. I can think of a chain shirt+4, for comparison, but it has much lower maximum dex, larger ASF and weight. (a mithal or elven one would get a little closer)

I am basically looking for other armors with a high maximum dex, that are or can be made Light armor. Do you know of any place that has rules for changing the weight category of armor, or adding the fly ability?

Celestial Armor: This bright silver or gold +3 chainmail is so fine and light that it can be worn under normal clothing without betraying its presence. It has a maximum Dexterity bonus of +8, an armor check penalty of –2, and an arcane spell failure chance of 15%. It is considered light armor, weighs 20 pounds, and it allows the wearer to use fly on command (as the spell) once per day.

Faint transmutation [good]; CL 5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, creator must be good, fly; Price 22,400 gp; Cost 12,550 gp + 1,004 XP.

I would like to see this armor without the flight ability and alignment.
Seems like they left out some of the components to make this,in the description.
By this I meant celestial armor.
