| Diyon03-14-06, 09:07 PM | I've made an armor/shield ability primarily meant for druids and want to know what others think of it. Amorphous Amorphous can be placed only on wooden armor or shields. The sort of "flows" as one piece and is firm against attacks but allows the user ease of movement. Armors and shields with the amorphous quality thus reduce the equipment's armor check penalty by one. The wearer can also cause the armor or shield to woodshape at will, as per the spell, as a free action. The armor cannot be separated into pieces this way and must still resemble armor or a shield. Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, woodshape; Cost: +5000gp I don't know what the caster level should be yet. You can do a lot of interesting things with this if you get creative. I love finding good ways to use less common spells. |

| Diyon03-17-06, 04:50 PM | When I say it reduces the penalty, I mean like a -3 to -2. Just thought I'd say that to clear the confusion there. And don't you mean increase the max Dex bonus? That may be something good to add. I don't know. Actually, this has kinda evolved as I found other resources, and the penalty reduction was one of the original components. |
