| erasmus163412-20-04, 12:08 PM | Let us say that a group of PCs has stumbled across an adamantite clad door that is 8 feet high and 4 feet wide and has a total thickness of 1 inch. That would equate to 4608 square inches of adamantite. How much would it weigh and what would its value be? |
| carnivore12-20-04, 12:25 PM | for the weight of rolled steel look here: http://www.reade.com/Particle_Briefings/spec_gra2.html#E 495lbs / cubic ft or .286458333 per cubic inch the door 96x48 = 4608 sq inches , and since it is 1" thick it is also the cubic inch quantity so .28645833 x 4608 = 1319.999985 lbs or 1320lbs there is no weight change for adamantine vs steel |
