Ok, I am a Warlock in a Freeworld Campaign. Due to circumstances beyond his control, he became a Half-Golem. Everyone started calling my character Cyborg(from Teen Titans) in jest, and that got me thinking....

How would it work out and how much would it cost to get something grafted onto my hand and/or arm that would add Sonic damage to my Eldritch blast? It doesn't have to be a always on item either, I just want to see if it would work.

if you have access to eberron, warforged components might be a good place to look.

other than that, you might be able to swing something using graft flesh...

Um... you mean like a Destrachan's head grafted onto the end of your arm, maybe? X uses per day of Shatter, Y uses of Sonic Orb... that sort of thing?

It'd be a DM created option for the Graft Flesh feat in Lords of Madness/Fiend Folio, I guess.

Heehee, you just reminded me of City of Towers by Keith Baker. Good book.

Hmm, I'll have to look up Grafts, but it would work like either a Warlock's Scepter or a Chausible of Fell Power, only it would take up space on the hand and add Sonic damage(flavor mainly).Something like.....

Sonic Enhancer
3/ a day you may add 5d6 of Sonic damage to Eldritch Blast shot out of the hand the Enhancer is connected to.

or

Sonic Enhancer
This item is made with 50 charges. You may spend an amount of charges at one time equal to your charisma modifier, adding 2d6 of sonic damage to an Eldritch Blast per charge.

hmmm... i suppose you could do that (or something like it).

problem is, i think first you would have to make an eldritch blast that deals sonic damage to act as a prerequisite for making the item...

of course, i suppose you wouldn't actually have to have the eldritch blast... (as far as i can tell, you can fake having invocations as easily as you can fake spells, right?)

or an invocation that allows you to deal sonic damage.
