06-02-06, 03:17 PM I believe that anyone can get them, but the Deity has to be willing to give them to him. And some deities might not be so inclined to do it at all, though many warlike deities would do it if the person showed enough faithfulness. I believe this is partially covered in their description.

Can you enhance them beyond +3 and add special abilities?

06-02-06, 03:34 PM To my knowledge, they can be improved just as any other magic weapon can. But, upon recieving them, they have the properties listed.

Nice... I'm so much going to become the fighter variant Kensai with these weapons. Think Goliath is a perfect race for this. Unless there are any other suggestions.

06-02-06, 03:42 PM Remember though, your deity has to give them to you, and you need to use them to serve him/her/it. And since your DM controls the deities, he determines what flies. These things are really good, so when I allowed them, I required strict service to the deity in return for them.

06-02-06, 04:40 PM It's just gonna have to fall to the DM to say what deities will grant it. Races don't have an impact.
