Here's a weapon i'm going to put in my Campaign tell me how you like it

Weapon Damage Critical Type Range
Living Sword 1d8 19-20/2 slashing -/15

As a move action you may hit a switch on the hilt to lose the blade. In the mode it acts in all ways to a whip, except is deals lethal damage. There are also greatsword versions of this.

True living swords have are magically animated adding a extra +2 to trip and disarm attacks

Sounds a little strange, what are the specifics of it? what's it made from, cost, magic level, etc.

the Normal one is made out of any usual materials. As far a the magical one i'm currently working on it. It's kinda difficult because i'm basing of of Ivy's sword from Soul Calibur and i'm not sure what to do about the seperation

Ok, I'm feeling ya. So is the 'normal' one a mechanical device?

Yes, I've seen this sort of thing before. I believe it's normally called a "whip sword" or something along those lines. "Living sword" sounds like a good name for the magical version.

By the way, are you sure you want it acting "in all ways" like a whip? A normal whip deals only nonlethal damage.

I don't know about a movie. This One is inspired by Soul Caliber.

Would you consider giving some more powerful Living Weapons fast healing or regeneration?

So they could repair themselves after being damaged?
