Silverblade The Enchanter 07-20-07, 12:42 AM	:D Made up a "boomstick" for a dwarf character in my 3d Spelljammer comic, he's a dwarf "sniper" (fighter/rogue repeating crossbow specialist). +1 acid distance heavy repeating crossbow. Also, the magazines wil have a "Portable hole" type effect, so he can do John Woo's without running out of ammo, muhaha! Fireclave 07-20-07, 12:50 AM	And here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ask/20061227a) is how you price it. If you just replace "bow" with "crossbow," and the extra force damage with extra energy damage, most of the work's already done for you.

TheBlackPaladin 07-21-07, 03:34 PM	This is really simple. There was a 3.0 spell called Create Bolt. It was a 0 level wizard spell. The bolt lasts for a minute after being created. To create a "Hollywood" clip with unlimited use of this spell triggered by an empty clip, the price would only be 1000gp.

You could make a per day clip refill useing this spell and the bolts would be magic from it. Or you could enchant the clip itself instead of the xbow and then have each clip create differing effect bolts.
