Arman_Phillip 01-12-06, 05:37 AM	Me, I'd just use my head e.g. dog (two boot slots, one helm slot, one robe slot, one cloak slot, one clothes/armour slot) This makes one strange dog.

Tony Vargas 01-12-06, 03:06 PM	As a DM I find the slots given out in the article too pat and generous. I'd be much more restrictive: Normal wild animals: no slots, period. If you change into one, all your items merge with the form, as it's a non-equipment using form. 'Tamed' wild animals, including animal companions: one slot, a collar. Basically similar in affinity to the amulet or belt slot, with an additional affinity for communication effects and effects to control the wearer. Tamed wild animals suitable for riding might also have a bridle or saddle slot, below: Most Domesticated Animals: One collar around the kneck: affinity as amulet. One bridle, muzzle or lead on the head/face: affinity deals with communicating with or controlling the wearer. One yoke, saddle, or harness on the back/shoulders: affinity as belt. One suit of barding or a blanket covering the back and most of the body. as armor or affinity as cloak. In addition, horses (or, perhaps, other hooved animals) could have: set of 4 horseshoes on the hoves: affinity as boots. Domesticated birds (like falcons or cocks ... :rolleyes: ...excuse me, roosters) could have: One hood over the head: affinity bridle/muzzle/lead One set of bands or traces or spurs on the legs: (traces, same affinity as briddle; bands as bracers, or with a communication affinity; spurs are used in cockfighting and would be weapons)
